Illinois High School Volleyball - Niles North edged by Carmel

The Carmel Corsairs held off the host Niles North Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Corsairs now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Carmel will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.
The Vikings (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Wauconda was nudged by Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
