Next up, the Blacksmiths battle the Ovilla Christian Eagles (Red Oak, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. Westlake Academy will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 11-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX).

With the loss, Great Hearts Irving drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Founders Classical Academy (Lewisville, TX) to battle the Eagles in a Texas Charter contest on Monday, September 19. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 3-1.
