The Metamora Redbirds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights to 0 in the Redbirds non-league victory on Friday.

The Redbirds now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Normal West for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. Metamora will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Grayslake North dropped by Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
