The Lutheran Crusaders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Triad Knights to 0 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Friday.
The Crusaders now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metro-East Lutheran for a non-league game on Saturday, August 27. Lutheran will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Triad (Troy, IL). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their game against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, LaSalle-Peru was dropped by Lutheran (Springfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
