Texas High School Volleyball - Sotomayor can't hold off Southwest

August 26, 2022: San Antonio, TX 78254

In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Southwest Dragons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Sotomayor Wildcats.

The Dragons (18-3) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Titans come into the 5A Region IV District 28 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Southwest Legacy nudged South San Antonio West (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 26. Sotomayor will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 5-15 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX).
