Arkansas High School Football - Bryant prevails Benton

August 26, 2023: Bryant, AR 72022

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) and the visiting Benton Panthers (Benton, AR), observed Bryant's football squad defeat Benton by a count of 35-6.

The Hornets now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Christian Brothers for a non-league contest on Friday, September 1. Bryant will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 55-28 non-league win over Carmel (Carmel, IN). The Cadets record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Sylvan Hills Bears (Sherwood, AR) in a 6A East contest, on Friday, September 8. Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Maumelle (Maumelle, AR).
