Alabama High School Football - Blount topped by Vigor

The Blount Leopards football team (Eight Mile, AL), was beaten 26-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL)

The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rain (Mobile, AL). The Red Raiders come into the 5A Region 1 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Rain achieved victory over Excel (Excel, AL), 34-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Leopards now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spanish Fort for a 6A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 1. Blount will meet a Toros team coming off a 17-14 non-league loss to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL). The Toros record now stands at 1-1.
