Michigan High School Football - Loyola Academy overwhelms Catholic Central

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) and the host Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI), observed Loyola Academy's football squad bounce Catholic Central by a count of 45-7.

The Ramblers now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Naperville North for a non-league match on Friday, September 1. Loyola Academy will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 35-21 non-league win over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their match against River Rouge (River Rouge, MI). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, River Rouge was crushed by Belleville (Belleville, MI), 35-28, in a non-league match.
