Pennsylvania High School Football - Union Area sneaks past Mohawk Area

The Union Area Scotties football squad scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors to 35 in the Scotties non-league victory on Saturday.

The Scotties now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellwood City for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Union Area will face a Wolverine squad coming off a 27-26 non-league win over Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Warriors face the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. Mohawk Area will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 25-7 non-league loss to Freedom Area (Freedom, PA).
