Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Silverdale Academy Seahawks (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Dobyns-Bennett will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Seahawks enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC).

The Tigers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar for a non-league challenge on Sunday, August 27.
