In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Halls Red Devils soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Sevier County Smoky Bears.
The Red Devils (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Smith County (Carthage, TN). The Owls go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Smith County nipped Cannon County (Woodbury, TN), 5-0, in a league battle.
The Smoky Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN). The Patriots go into the AAA District 2 test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Jefferson County nudged Halls (Knoxville, TN), 1-0, in a non-league test.
