In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Artesia Bulldogs football squad scored a big 49-12 victory over the Goddard Rockets.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 31. Artesia will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM).
The Rockets (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Alamogordo was crushed by Loving (Loving, NM), 55-21, in a non-league match.
