Kentucky High School Football - Highlands nips Covington Catholic

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Highlands Bluebirds football squad scored a close 28-27 victory over the Covington Catholic Colonels.

In their next game, the Bluebirds clash with the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 2. Highlands will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Camels enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 52-12 non-league loss to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY).

The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Simon Kenton held off Cooper (Union, KY), 20-19, in a non-league match.
