With the win, Middle Creek upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Green Hope lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC)

The Patriots now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to South View for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. Pinecrest will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
