California High School Volleyball - Orthopaedic can't hold off Sylmar

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Sylmar Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Orthopaedic Vipers.
The Spartans (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Poly was edged by Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Vipers encounter the Contreras Cobras (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 28. Orthopaedic will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.
