The Concord Minutemen smashed the host Angola Hornets soccer squad by a margin of 9-2 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Minutemen now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Warsaw for a Northern Lakes match on Wednesday, August 30. Concord will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Angola drops to 2-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Garrett (Garrett, IN) to encounter the Railroaders in a Northeast Corner match on Tuesday, September 5. The Railroaders come into the match with a record of 4-0.
