In Saturday's league battle, the host Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Bethesda Christian Patriots.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against University (Carmel, IN). The Trailblazers come into the Pioneer battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, University was overwhelmed by Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN), 6-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils (Indianapolis, IN) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, August 29. Bethesda Christian will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN).
