Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) supporters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Denver Christian Thunder (Denver, CO), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

With the win, Telluride moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Miners host Caprock Academy (Grand Junction, CO) to battle the Eagles in a 2A Intermountain outing on Wednesday, September 6. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 3-0.

In their next game, the Thunder battle the Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 31. Denver Christian will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
