In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Whitley County Colonels soccer squad scored a good 14-0 triumph over the Knott County Central Patriots.
The Colonels (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds come into the District 49 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Corbin was overwhelmed by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Powell County Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 3-3, in a non-league battle.
