Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Shamrocks face the Zionsville Eagles (Zionsville, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Westfield will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Fishers (Fishers, IN).
The Tigers now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Western for a Hoosier challenge on Tuesday, August 29. Northwestern will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Bremen (Bremen, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
