The Aquinas Monarchs routed the host Tekamah-Herman Tigers softball squad by a final score of 12-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Monarchs (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Bluejays go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Guardian Angels Central Catholic topped South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE), 15-0, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Sioux City for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 26. Tekamah-Herman will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-5.
