Nebraska High School Softball - Pierce bounces Blue River

The Pierce Bluejays routed the host Blue River softball squad by a count of 12-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Bluejays (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Polk County (Stromsburg, NE). The Slammers go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Polk County was routed by Boone Central/Newman Grove (Albion, NE), 8-7, in a league battle.

The now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southern/Diller-Odell for a non-league battle on Monday, August 28. Blue River will meet a squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Raymond Central (Raymond, NE). The record now stands at 1-3.
