In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Broken Bow Savages softball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Coalgate Wildcats.

Coming up next, the Savages encounter the Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) in a 4A District 5 outing, on Monday, August 28. Broken Bow will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 8-13 record after their 8-2 league win over Checotah (Checotah, OK).
