The Douglas County Huskies softball team (Castle Rock, CO), was routed 16-6 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Broomfield Eagles (Broomfield, CO)

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 26. Broomfield will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the test with a 1-1 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO).

The Huskies (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Arapahoe (Centennial, CO). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Arapahoe was routed by Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO), 8-2, in a non-league test.
