In Saturday's non-league contest, the Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO) softball team overwhelmed the host Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), by a margin of 16-4.

With the triumph, Pueblo Central moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Ponderosa (Parker, CO) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 26. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Ponderosa won 18-4 in their recent non-league contest against Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO)

In their next game, the Rams play the Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Rampart will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 19-8 non-league loss to Columbine (Littleton, CO).
