The Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) softball routed the visiting Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wolves (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 7 bout with a 0-12 record. In their last bout, Gilmer was routed by Pickens (Jasper, GA), 8-0, in a league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pace Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. Westminster will confront a Knights squad coming off a 22-20 league win over Luella (Luella, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
