In Saturday's non-league contest, the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Grace Prep Lions (Arlington, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Granbury will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Aledo (Aledo, TX).
