In Saturday's non-league contest, the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) volleyball squad were winner over the host Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Warren East Raiders (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Logan County will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY).

With the loss, Allen County-Scottsville moves to 7-4 on the year. The Patriots host Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to battle the Scotties in a District 15 contest on Saturday, August 26. The Scotties go into the contest with a record of 1-3. Glasgow lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Warren East (Bowling Green, KY)
