Nebraska High School Volleyball - Axtell over Alma

The Axtell Wildcats (Axtell, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE), 2-0 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Axtell upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE) to face the Buffaloes in a D1 District 9 outing on Thursday, August 31. The Buffaloes go into the outing with a record of 1-1.

The Cardinals now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wilcox-Hildreth for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 29. Alma will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
