Texas High School Volleyball - McKinney over Anderson

In Saturday's non-league contest, the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 29. McKinney will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX).

With the loss, Anderson moves to 20-3 on the year. The Trojans host Akins (Austin, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 6A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, August 29. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 3-12. Akins lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Katy Taylor (Katy, TX)
