Texas High School Volleyball - Bishop Lynch over Walnut Grove

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) and the visiting Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX), saw Bishop Lynch's volleyball squad beat Walnut Grove by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Bishop Lynch upgrades its record to 13-10 on the year. The Friars travel to Round Rock (Round Rock, TX) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 19-9. Round Rock lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they host McKinney for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Walnut Grove will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Anderson (Austin, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-7.
