The Notre Dame Nikes volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Boone Toreadors to 0 in the Nikes non-league victory on Saturday.
The Nikes now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Trinity Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5.
The Toreadors (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers enter the Raccoon River game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Gilbert gained a win over Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
