Texas High School Volleyball - Bryan tips Fort Bend Hightower

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bryan Vikings (Bryan, TX) and the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), saw Bryan's volleyball squad nip Fort Bend Hightower by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Bryan upgrades its record to 11-17 on the year. The Vikings travel to Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Fort Bend Kempner lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Alief Taylor (Houston, TX)

The Hurricanes now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ridge Point for a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, August 29. Fort Bend Hightower will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-11.
