The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) and the visiting Central Panthers (Independence, OR), saw Grants Pass's volleyball squad nip Central by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Grants Pass upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Cavemen host Springfield (Springfield, OR) to play the Millers in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Millers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Springfield lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR)

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lebanon for a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Tuesday, September 5.
