North Carolina High School Volleyball - Laney Clayton

The Laney Buccaneers volleyball team (Wilmington, NC), went down 3-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC)

The Comets (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Pine Forest defeated Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Buccaneers encounter the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Laney will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Midway (Dunn, NC).
