The Piner Prospectors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cloverdale Eagles to 0 in the Prospectors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Prospectors now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Helena for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Piner will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Saints record now stands at 1-3.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Analy (Sebastopol, CA). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Analy dropped by San Marin (Novato, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
