Indiana High School Volleyball - Mitchell tips Columbus East

August 26, 2023: Columbus, IN 47201

Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bluejackets battle the Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 26. Mitchell will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Braves come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Providence (Clarksville, IN).

With the loss, Columbus East drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Olympians travel to East Central (St. Leon, IN) to battle the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, August 26. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 8-2. East Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Batesville (Batesville, IN)
