The Costa Mesa Mustangs topped the host Sage Hill Lightning volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Chapel for a Orange Coast test on Tuesday, August 29. Costa Mesa will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
The Lightning (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors enter the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Newport Harbor gained a win over Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
