The Crockett County Cavaliers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Lafayette Commodores to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cavaliers now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Crockett County will meet a Chargers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 7-4.

The Commodores (9-7) will now prepare for their game against South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, South Panola dropped by Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
