The Mt. Pleasant Panthers held off the host East Marshall Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keokuk for a Southeast test on Tuesday, August 29.
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Washington (Washington, IA). The Demons enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Washington was nudged by Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
