The West Mesquite Wranglers volleyball team (Mesquite, TX), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX)

The Mavericks (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Independence (Frisco, TX). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Independence went down by Hockaday (Dallas, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wranglers encounter the Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. West Mesquite will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX).
