The Paul W. Bryant Stampede topped the host Fairfield Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Stampede now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillcrest for a 6A Area 6 test on Tuesday, August 29. Paul W. Bryant will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Holy Family Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Tornadoes enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Holy Family Catholic was knocked off by Vincent (Vincent, AL), 3-0, in a league test.
