The Buffalos now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iowa Colony for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Fort Bend Marshall will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Houston (South Houston, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-15.

The Mavericks (5-16) will now prepare for their game against Katy (Katy, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region III District 19 game with a 6-13 record. In their last game, Katy was nudged by Tompkins (Katy, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
