Texas High School Volleyball - Las Cruces crushed by Franklin

The Franklin Cougars topped the visiting Las Cruces Bulldawgs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Americas for a 6A Region I District 1 test on Tuesday, August 29. Franklin will confront a Trail Blazers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 16-5.

The Bulldawgs (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Deming was knocked off by Socorro (Socorro, NM), 3-1, in a non-league test.
