The Gray's Creek Bears topped the visiting Laney Buccaneers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clayton for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Gray's Creek will confront a Comets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Comets record now stands at 4-1.

The Buccaneers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Mideastern 3A/4A test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, West Brunswick gained a win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 3-2, in a non-league test.
