Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Newman over Green Bay Southwest

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Newman Fighting Cardinals (Wausau, WI) and the host Green Bay Southwest Fighting Trojans (Green Bay, WI), saw Newman's volleyball squad beat Green Bay Southwest by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Newman upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Fighting Cardinals travel to Altoona (Altoona, WI) to play the Railroaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Railroaders go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Altoona won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Seymour (Seymour, WI)

The Fighting Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Menasha for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31.
