The Rattlers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mission (Mission, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Mission defeated Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Owls meet the Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Highlands will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cotulla (Cotulla, TX).
