Texas High School Volleyball - Laredo LBJ over Holmes

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) and the visiting Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), saw Laredo LBJ's volleyball squad beat Holmes by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Laredo LBJ upgrades its record to 17-4 on the year. The Wolves host Edinburg (Edinburg, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 11-7.

The Huskies now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Stevens for a 6A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, August 29. Holmes will play a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 19-9.
