Next, the 76ers encounter the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Independence will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA).
