Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Johnnies clash with the Utica Redskins (Utica, OH) in a Licking County match, on Tuesday, August 29. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Redskins come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH).

With the loss, Newark drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to New Albany (New Albany, OH) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 29. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 1-2.
